Southern Europe
Southern Europe holds a special place in my heart – and Florence, Italy, was where it all began. In 2014, the city became both my home and my classroom for study abroad. Mornings often started with a fresh croissant and espresso for just two euros, followed by walks to class through streets flowing with Renaissance history. From there, the region unfolded in all its glory: the birthplace of democracy in Athens, the romantic grandeur of Paris, the brilliance of Gaudí’s La Sagrada Família in Barcelona, and so much more. Southern Europe dazzles with its abundance of art and flavor – a living museum of creativity.
